Marketing for the Town of Hayden's New Industry Park
The Town of Hayden is a small rural northwestern Colorado town of 1,399 people seeking to grow its economy. Hayden is developing an industrial park to attract new companies and investments in order to create good paying jobs. The Town wants to recruit advanced manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehousing, outdoor recreation, clean-tech, renewable energy, and startup companies to the 117-acre industry park called Northwest Colorado Business District (NCBD).
Hayden engaged Upsize Marketing Strategies to develop an in-depth brochure that could be used as a prospectus to build the business case for why locate to NCBD and Hayden. Upsize compiled extensive economic development research to develop socio-economic, workforce, and employer profiles, along with gathering incentive, workforce training and quality of life information. Upsize worked with Hayden to gather site information and created wetland, topo, radius, rail and proximity maps. We provided copywriting and compiled images to design a comprehensive brochure that speaks to most site selection considerations.
The brochure was used during a community familiarization tour for prospective companies considering NCBD. It was formatted as a print document, a downloadable pdf document to be used on its website and a flip book that could be shared on social media and other online channels.
